If you require emergency treatment for a potentially life-threatening condition you should dial 999 and ask for the ambulance service. The following conditions are considered potentially life-threatening:
Chest pain
Loss of consciousness
Breathing difficulties
Severe loss of blood
For any other condition which you feel cannot wait until your GP Surgery reopens, you should contact the Out Of Hours Service on 08444 122239. Your call will go to our local out-of-hours service, Derbyshire Health United.
Depending on your problem, you may go on to speak to a nurse or doctor,. Where possible you will be dealt with in a single call, but when the service is very busy someone may call you back.
You may be asked to attend an appointment at the out-of-hours service headquarters on Duffield Road.
