Suggestions & Complaints

Local Resolution

Please submit your suggestion or complaint in writing to Lister House Surgery using the following methods…

  • Forward your suggestion or complaint to the generic email address – [email protected]
  • Forward your suggestion or complaint via post or drop it in to any of the Lister House Surgery sites
  • Fill in our Complaints Form and send back to us using the options above

Please include your name, date of birth and address when submitting a suggestion or complaint to enable an appropriate investigation to take place.  If you are complaining on behalf of someone else, please ensure to gain their consent for us to discuss their medical records with you, a third party consent form can be picked up from any of the sites.  The two points of contact for complaints at Lister House Surgery are Joanne Gregson and Jessica West.

Lister House Surgery has a robust local resolution complaints policy whereby we aim to formally respond within 10 working days upon receiving the complaint.  If a response extension is required, you will be informed including the reasons behind this.  Face to face meetings can be arranged if you wish to discuss your complaint in more detail.

NHS England

If you feel unable to complain directly to the practice, you can submit your complaint to NHS England using the following methods…

Parliamentary & Health Services Ombudsman

If you have exhausted the complaints process through the practice or NHS England and feel that a resolution has not been sought, you have the right to complain to the Parliamentary & Health Services Ombudsman using the following methods…
