If you are registered at Lister House Chellaston or Coleman Street, you most likely order your repeat prescriptions via the Medicines Order Line (MOL).
The Medicines Order Line has been under significant pressure since the Covid-19 pandemic started and has undergone constant redesign of the service to meet the challenges of increased calls, social distancing rules, sickness and now remote working.
If you are experiencing problems contacting the MOL via the telephone number, they have introduced a call back system where patients can email a request for a call back from a MOL operative.
Patients can find information on how to email a request for a call back by visiting the MOL website at https://www.derbyandderbyshireccg.nhs.uk/your-healthservices/information-for-patients/prescription-medicines-order-line-mol/
In the email itself patients will need to tell us:
- The name of their GP practice
- Their name
- Their date of birth
- Their contact telephone number
- Press send
Please note that no responses will be provided to patients via email as the purpose of email is to request a call back only. The MOL expect to be able to call patients back within 48 hours (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) but that may vary according to the volume of enquiries they are processing. They will attempt to call patients back three times only.
